The concept of Khatm-e-Nabuwat is explicitly mentioned in the Quran in several verses. One of the most well-known verses is found in Surah Al-Ahzab (Chapter 33), verse 40, which states:
“Muhammad is not the father of [any] one of your men, but [he is] the Messenger of Allah and seal [i.e., last] of the prophets. And ever is Allah, of all things, Knowing.” (Quran, 33:40).
This verse makes it clear that Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the final prophet, marking the end of prophethood.
